Last year, we came to know about Jeep India's plan to locally assemble the Wrangler and the made-in-India model is now all-set to hit the roads next month. Jeep India will launch the locally assembled Jeep Wrangler on March 15 and it will be sold in India as a semi-knocked down (SKD) unit instead of a completely built unit (CBU). The 2021 Jeep Wrangler will be assembled at the Ranjangaon facility and prices are expected to drop once it enters local production. Jeep India has also announced investing ₹ 180 crore in our market, a part of which will go toward local manufacturing of the Wrangler.

Porsche has officially introduced the new-gen 911 GT3 high-performance coupe and it is the first GT model to be based on the new-generation 911, which is a part of the 992 Series. It's the seventh-gen 911 GT3 and the Stuttgart-based luxury sportscar carmaker has developed the car in close collaboration with Porsche Motorsport. The car now comes with a wider body, larger wheels and additional technical features, but it's still at par with its predecessor in terms of weight, tipping the scales at a maximum of 1,435 kilograms. This is courtesy of the lightweight components made of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP), lightweight glass windows, light-alloy wheels and a sports exhaust system.

It's not the first time that Tata Motors has taunted its rivals for their product's crash worthiness. It was back in November 2020, that the company took a dig at the Maruti Suzuki SPresso for failing the Global NCAP crash test results. It's back again doing exactly that but this time calling out to the rivals to the Altroz. The Tata Altroz has received a 5-star safety rating by Global NCAP making it the safest premium hatchback in the country. Keeping this is mind, Tata Motors called out to the Bae-leno and the Hi 20 and asked both of them out on a 'crash date'.
