University of Michigan Health-West performed more than twice the number of open-heart surgery procedures that it expected to do in its first year. 

University of Michigan Health West surgeons recently completed their 100th open heart surgery in 10 months.

An open-heart surgery center in Wyoming just passed a major milestone. It has hosted 100 surgeries in less than a year.

University of Michigan Health-West expected to perform 50 procedures in the first 12 months after launching open-heart surgery last October.
