David Davidson from the Cardross Inn admitted that the pub’s reopening was an emotional day THE landlord of a popular village pub near Dumbarton was close to tears on the day he reopened for business under the eased lockdown rules. CARDROSS residents were able to experience a little bit of normality again at a community Christmas market in the village. Locals flocked to the socially-distanced event which took place at Cardross Inn, with everyone enjoying a barbecue, the kids meeting Santa and even an alcoholic beverage for the grown-ups. Other local retailers also set up their stalls for festive shoppers to peruse.
