Boeing has decided to replace the troubled service module meant to be used for the second uncrewed test flight of the company’s Starliner spacecraft.

Boeing has yet to nail down 100% the problem that forced the scrub of the August launch attempt of its CST-100 Starliner test flight to the International Space Station, so the company has decided to keep testing while grabbing hardware from a future flight in the hopes of maybe getting the much delayed mission off the ground in the first half of 2022.

NASA and Boeing have decided to postpone the launch of the Orbital Flight Test-2 mission due to a technical snag in the CST-100 Starliner propulsion system.

It looks like the launch of the Starliner to the ISS is delayed indefinitely by several months. Nasa and Boeing are now returning the Starliner to the production facility.
