THIS month we take a trip down memory lane with photographs of Cumbria s young farmers enjoying taking part in competitions and their annual Field Day. But over the past year farmers in Cumbria have been praised for rising to the challenge during Covid-19 and lockdown with Zoom becoming the new norm and staying in becoming the new going out. Young farmers helped out in their local communities, clapped for the NHS, organised Covid-safe tractor runs and car treasure hunts and took part in virtual stockjudging, scavenger hunts, baking and photo competitions, quizzes and bingo.
