+ February 07, 2021 THE Bacolod City Council approved a resolution requesting the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Bacolod to expedite the road construction and repair works in some areas in the city.
The resolution was authored by Council Wilson Gamboa Jr., chairperson of the City Council committee history, culture and arts.
Gamboa said the DPWH should expedite the road construction and repair works along Circumferential Road, Carlos Hilado highway near the Bacolod Government Center and Cabug-Circumferential intersection and to cause the installation of reflectorized warning signs during its construction or repair.
He said the DPWH has the authority over private contractors working on the construction and repair along the circumferential road.
