In an effort to cut down on single-use cups and give consumers a greener choice, Starbucks has started to roll out their long-awaited reusable cups, testing the new Borrow A Cup program at five Seattle stores until May 31.

Customers will have the option to order their hot or cold beverage in the company s newly designed reusable cups at participating stores, paying a $1 refundable deposit for their cup. Customers can then return to cup to the store s contactless kiosk, scanning the cup using the Starbucks App to receive a $1 credit and 10 bonus stars for future purchases.
