Recent and regular reports of wild horses along East College Parkway in Carson City have prompted the Carson City Sheriff s Office to organize a herding operation set for Sunday.
The Carson City Airport will have a number of vintage airplanes on display this Sunday, Aug. 30 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for an event to celebrate the end of World War II. Cactus Air Force Wings and Wheels Museum will have several pieces of vintage aircraft at the airport.
