Youth Legislator Stella Thornton, a Senior at Carson High School in Carson City will present Senate Bill 80 on behalf of the Nevada Youth Legislature on Wednesday, March 15, at 2 p.m. Senate Bill 80 (SB80) will provide clear guidelines and procedures for managing a students traumatic brain injury (TBI) or concussion.

The featured speaker at Mondays Democratic luncheon will be former Carson City Fire Chief Stacey Giomi, currently a member of the Board of Supervisors representing Ward 1. He assumed office on January 7, 2019 and is running for reelection.

This week Carson High School is proud to present Cooper Eaton as the Senior in the Spotlight. Cooper is an excellent student-athlete at Carson High and has great aspirations for himself after he graduates. During his time here, he has excelled in the classroom and currently holds a 4.17 weighted GPA.
