The Carson City School District took time at the School Board meeting Tuesday night to recognize 22 individuals with the “Distinguished Student Award.” The student winners were selected by administrators and recognized from their respective schools as having specific qualities, skills and characteristics that distinguished them.

Carson City Library’s Pedal Library will be busy delivering books to students attending summer school. Now through the end of June, the teardrop trailer pulled behind a bike will provide up to 60 pounds of books available at each school within the Carson City School District. The mobile library will also offer mobile wifi and charging station soon.

The Carson City School District’s Nutrition Services is reminding students and families that in order to be eligible for the Summer Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) Card Meal Program, all Free and Reduced Lunch status applications must be turned in and on file before the end of the school year, Thursday, June 1, 2023.
