A 37-year-old Dayton woman was arrested at a casino on E. William Street for three counts of child neglect and endangerment.

Thursday afternoon, several calls came into dispatch from concerned citizens after they witnessed a woman who appeared to be hallucinating. When deputies located the woman, she did not speak to deputies and walked in the opposite direction. When deputies located her again, she was laying between a sidewall and a parking lot.

The Wyndham Garden Hotel, part of the Max Casino on South Carson Street, will be holding a job fair on Saturday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. According to Wyndham Sales Manager Stu Wexler, the job fair will focus on hiring mostly for the Black Bear Diner.

A 28-year-old man was booked Monday into Carson City Jail for two felony warrants alleging burglary, one count grand larceny, and misdemeanor obtaining money under false pretenses, a sheriffs deputy report states.

UPDATE: A vehicle chase in Carson City on Saturday afternoon involving a stolen car ended with a crash at Highway 50 and Fairview and two injured being air lifted by Care Flight. A third person was taken by ambulance. All three have non life-threatening injuries, Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong confirmed.

A 30-year-old Carson City man, Stephen Barns, was arrested in the 4000 block of S. Curry Tuesday evening for felony kidnapping, eluding with endangerment, obstruction, and possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. According to the report, deputies were dispatched to a local movie theater on report of a suspicious vehicle.

A 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday for gross misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery second offense, a Carson City sheriffs deputy said.

A 72-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday evening in the 1400 block of N. Curry for suspicion of second DUI and failure to yield to right of way.
