A 22-year-old Carson City man with two warrants was arrested Friday on felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon and eluding, among other charges following a vehicle pursuit, a Carson City sheriffs deputy said.

26-year-old Reid Jensen Williamson was arrested on DUI causing death and hit and run causing death after allegedly fleeing the scene after striking a pedestrian Thursday evening. The crash took place just after 5 p.m. at S. Stewart and Little Lane, and Williamson was detained at Little Lane and Parkland Avenue just before 6 p.m.

A 39-year-old food and nutrition manager at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center was arrested Wednesday on a felony charge of embezzlement after allegedly creating a fake account for a bakery where he would funnel invoices that were approved for payment by the hospital’s accounting department, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
