DAYTON, Nev. – August events at Dayton State Park include an astronomy program and a Carson River slide presentation.

The Carson City Sheriffs Office is looking for a suspect in two shots fired that happened early Tuesday morning at the home of a Carson City Justice of the Peace John Tatro. No one was injured. The incident happened at around 4:30 a.m. Security measures have been beefed up at the Carson City Municipal Court.

Sierra Nevada Holistic Services (SNVHS) has been in business for the last 5 years. Until recently, the organization’s primary services were massage, energy work, and aromatherapy. The business owner, Andrea Felesina, has since become a dual board-certified family nurse practitioner.

A 35-year-old Carson City woman was arrested early Saturday on felony suspicion of DUI causing injury and other charges after colliding with a motorcycle rider in the area of College Parkway and Highway 50 East, a Carson City sheriffs deputy said.
