A 38-year-old Carson City man faces a felony sexual assault charge, admitting to investigators that he committed the crime against a 16-year-old girl. Joaquin Canales-Montes is being held on $100,000 bail. He was arrested Tuesday after agreeing to a voluntary interview by Carson City Sheriffs Office investigators.
