Jackson Cunningham and Nobody’s Business will perform at the Carter Fold this weekend.

The Leftover Biscuits will take to the Carter Fold stage with old-time music in tow this weekend in Hiltons, Virginia.

The Carter Fold will sound a bit like a classic old-time radio show come Saturday evening when the Blue Ridge Opry takes to the stage.

Some of the top names in music will entertain this week in the Tri-Cities.

On a snowy day in January 2003, tourism officials from across Southwest Virginia converged on the Carter Fold for an organizational meeting of something called “The Crooked Road.”

The band, hailing from various places among The Crooked Road, will return to the Carter Family Fold.

The Carter Family Fold will host its latest “special show” for the month with a double dose of music from Volume Five as well as the Lonesome River Band.

You can take in a brew, a concert or try your hand at axe throwing all in the Tri-Cities this week.

The McLain Family Band has performed at the Carter Family Fold for nearly 50 years. This weekend, the tradition continues, along with a special guest.

J.P. Mathes and Fiddling Leona will return to the Carter Fold and will offer a tribute to Bill Clifton, a bluegrass musician and friend to A.P. Carter.
