Casey Benjamin, a celebrated saxophone and keys player for Robert Glasper, Beyonce, A Tribe Called Quest, and more, has died at the age of 45.

Today, groove titans Ghost-Note released the new funk anthem “Where’s Danny?” from their upcoming third album Mustard n’Onions (out April 19th). Led by Snarky Puppy's multi-GRAMMY-winning duo of drummer-keyboardist Robert Sput Searight and percussionist Nate Werth, Mustard n’Onions will be the group’s first new LP in six years, and their debut for Artistry Music/Mack Avenue Music Group.

Sinkane announces the release of their new album 'We Belong 'along with the release of their new single 'How Sweet Is Your Love.' His first full-length release since Dépaysé in 2019, We Belong is Sinkane's “love letter to Black music,” taking cues from gospel, Afrobeats, 70s funk, foundational soul of the rhythms of Sinkane's native Sudan and more.
