On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM received the Deputy Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Michael Reis, for the presentation of Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games Arrangements Act 2021 – A bill for an Act to establish an organising committee for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games and for related purposes, and to amend this Act and the Right to Information Act 2009 for particular purposes. In the evening, at Castlebar Cove, Kangaroo Point, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Brisbane Festival 2021 End of Year Event, and the Governor addressed guests.
