Search By Live95 News Team Live 95 picture library More than a quarter of million euro is being allocated for a major extension of the playground at Castletroy park.
Approximately €350,000 is to be spent by Limerick City and County Council and should see the existing play are treble in size.
It will include the construction of a new Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) and an enlargement of the existing playground area including associated site works and provision of drainage and lighting.
The works will also include the installation of a protective perimeter fence to the play area, installation of a range of play and exercise equipment, site furniture and resin bound surfacing.
