Silicon metal made at the Sinova Global plant in Tiptonville, TN will be used in solar cells, silicon anode batteries, aluminum, and semiconductors.

Jayson Tymko is CEO of Sinova Global, and he was in Lake County on Tuesday also. He discussed how his company, which is based in Canada, was glad to commit to bringing at $150 million investment and 140 jobs to the area.
