Community Bulletin Board: Criterion Sentinel (for June 30)
A fireworks display will be held July 2 at Alvin P. Williams Memorial Park in the Sewaren section of Woodbridge.
Gates to the park open at 4 p.m.
Officials will present Killed-In-Action flags to families who lost a loved one from Woodbridge in any wars in the past. Call the Recreation Department at 732-596-4048 to register someone. The ceremony should begin at 7:30 p.m.
The Nerds will perform after the fireworks.
“Bringing the Night to Life” fireworks will be presented by Pyrotecnico Fireworks at around 9:30 p.m.
Lawn chairs, blankets and picnics are encouraged. There is no reserved seating.

Community Bulletin Board: Criterion Sentinel (for May 26)
The Township of Edison and the Jewish Renaissance Foundation (JRF) Community Health Center have partnered to provide pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics of the Moderna vaccine from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 26, June 9 and June 23 at the Edison Township Senior Center, 2963 Woodbridge Ave., Edison.
Appointments are required, and may be made by calling 732-482-9600 or by visiting the JRF website at www.jrfnj.org/chc. The Township of Edison’s website, www.EdisonNJ.org, contains a registration link directing visitors to the JRF registration site.
The senior center was selected as the vaccination site because it offers multiple parking lots and is fully ADA-compliant.
