Scott Fitzgerald, was foisted on me, but upon reflection, I am glad it was.â I wasn’t expecting an email. I don’t remember registering for any kind of competition. At first, I thought the email was junk mail and I almost discarded it. I receive a lot of junk mail, but for some reason, this one looked different.
So I opened it. And I am glad I did because it brought some good news. It was from Catherine Richardson of Merriam-Webster Dictionary stating that I sentence I wrote was used an example in Merriam-Webster’s word of the day, March 31.

LANE COUNTY, Ore. Businesses in Lane County reacted to what it will mean when they can finally move from the extreme risk level to high risk on Friday.
For restaurants and other dining facilities, moving to the high risk category means that indoor dining is allowed at 25 percent capacity. Previously, in extreme risk, indoor dining was prohibited.
For indoor recreational centers, this also means they can allow up to a 25 percent maximum capacity. Previously, indoor recreational centers were only allowed to have up to six people at once if the facility is larger than 500 square feet.
Council gives go-ahead for eight controversial new Burnham-On-Sea homes
Controversial plans for eight new homes in Burnham-On-Sea were given the final go-ahead by district councillors on Tuesday (January 12th).
88 people signed a petition objecting against the plans amid concern about a likely rise in noise, increased traffic, the height of the properties compared to surrounding homes, a greater risk of flooding, and a loss of visual amenity.
The planning application is for a new development of eight homes on land at 150 Berrow Road on the site of an existing outbuilding, which is to be demolished. The application was initially submitted in 2017 and was approved in 2018.
