Panfilo "Ping" Lacson will be conferred a "Lifetime Achievement Award" by the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association, Inc. (PMAAAI) in recognition of his over 50 years of outstanding contributions in government and public service. In a statement Friday, Lacson cited the Dec. 15, 2021 letter signed by PMAAAI chairperson and chief executive officer Amado T. Espina, Jr. which described him as a person who established a "reputation beyond reproach and worthy of emulation" that brought honor not only to himself and his family but also the entire PMA and its alumni organization. Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rolando Bautista has shared his latest award in public administration to the agency’s more than 35,000 personnel nationwide who have been devoting their lives to provide reliable and immediate social welfare and protection services to the country’s marginalised sectors, particularly the poor.
