Stewartville celebrates with grand opening of Bear Cave Amphitheater
Bear Cave Amphitheater will feature a summer concert series free to the public every Wednesday starting June 16 through August 7th.

STEWARTVILLE, Minn. - Celebrating the new addition at Stewartville s Bear Cave Park, Saturday is the grand opening of its new amphitheater.
The amphitheater has been a long time coming.
Plans have been in the works with the Stewartville Area Community Foundation since 2016.
The plan was approved by the city council in 2019, donating 50 thousand dollars to the fund.
It was built last year and now it s ready for community use.

Shawnee Cave Amphitheater announces a stellar bluegrass lineup for its Memorial Day weekend event. The event will take place May 28-30 with music all three nights, for these family friendly shows. Weekend at the Cave is bringing some of the best progressive jamgrass bands back to beautiful Southern Illinois. The lineup includes Sam Bush Band, The Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon, Keller Williams, Kyle Tuttle Band & Chicken Wire Empire.
Shawnee Cave Amphitheater is being brought back to life after being purchased by new owners nearly a decade ago. The vision for the property is a new experience-based destination venue to drive tourism to Southern Illinois. The land surrounding the amphitheater borders up with The Shawnee National Forest.
