CBSE Clas 10, 12 exams 2021: Amid the Covid-19 surge, there is a huge outcry from students to postpone the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) classes 10, 12 exams. Over one lakh petitions have been signed at change.org in demand of either cancellation or postponing the exams. Several politicians, actors also joined the chorus supporting the students demand.Â
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said the decision to conduct the CBSE exams from May 4 should be reconsidered. In the light of the devastating Corona second wave, conducting CBSE exams must be reconsidered. All stakeholders must be consulted before making sweeping decisions,â he tweeted.Â

Amid rising coronavirus COVID-19 cases in India, several students, teachers and parents are urging the CBSE to either cancel the upcoming CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Eams 2021 or to hold the Board Exams 2021 in online mode but the CBSE has made it clear that it has now plans to cancel the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) also said few days ago that the exams will be held in offline mode and the CBSE will ensure the safety of the students.

As lakhs of students across India are preparing to appear in CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on April 3 released a statement saying that Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) have been assigned lower classes and this has resulted in dearth of qualified teachers for evaluation of practicals and assessment of CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 students.

CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2021: While the CBSE board exams are scheduled to begin from 4 May 2021, many students, parents and teachers are now requesting the government to cancel the board exams for class 10, 12 or postpone the same due to a recent surge of COVID-19 cases in the country.
However, the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) has reiterated that the examinations will be conducted as per the schedule.
