FORT ST. JOHN, B.C – Pacific Northern Gas released an update to the situation affecting the Cecil Lake area on Monday afternoon.
Following an impact to Enbridge’s pipeline serving the Cecil Lake Station on Saturday, July 24th, PNG “immediately activated its emergency plan and put measures in place to isolate the system, maintain supply and arrange for additional gas supply,” says a release.
The company used gas already in the system and deployed a Compressed Natural Gas trailer on Sunday morning to continue supplying gas to customers in the Cecil Lake area.
