Celebrity Cruises marked its return to Australia after 930 days away from Aussie waters and launched its trade portal, 'The Celebrity Commitment'.

Australia in April welcomed back cruise ships after two-plus years of a Covid-related ban, but the region is now entering its first high season for cruising since 2019.

Following an absence of more than 900 days, Celebrity Cruises has returned to New Zealand waters with the introduction of Celebrity Eclipse, the line’s third cruise ship to dock in Auckland since the pandemic.

Celebrity Cruises has made its highly-anticipated return to Australian and New Zealand waters. On Saturday (Oct. 22), Celebrity Eclipse set sail from Sydney, Australia, on a 12-night itinerary exploring the scenic wilderness of New Zealand. The voyage is the first of 17 sailings departing from Sydney and Auckland through April 2023.
