A gunman accused of killing a woman in the Orlando area returned to the neighborhood hours later and shot four more people, killing a journalist covering the original shooting and a 9-year-old child, Florida police said.

A central Florida television journalist and a little girl were fatally shot Wednesday afternoon near the scene of a fatal shooting from earlier in the day, authorities said.

Three people died and two more were hurt in three separate shootings in Orlando, Florida, on Wednesday, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

According to witnesses, a man approached a news vehicle and opened fire, hitting the two reporters.

Dylan Lyons, 24, a TV reporter for Spectrum News 13 in Florida, was shot and killed while reporting on the scene of a homicide investigation in Pine Hills, Orange County. Lyons was a Philadelphia native.
