The Nifty Bank index closed 0.33 per cent down at 45151.8.

The Nifty Realty index closed 0.56 per cent up at 525.9.

The Nifty Pharma index closed 0.71 per cent up at 13772.0.

The Nifty Auto index closed 1.64 per cent up at 15281.9.

The overall uptrend status of Nifty remains intact. Though, the market is placed at the new highs, the selling pressure has not been emerging from near the hurdle. If such a pattern continues for the next 1-2 sessions, without showing any further damages, then that could eventually result in a sharp upside bounce in the market. Immediate support is at 19300 levels,” said Nagaraj Shetti, Technical Research Analyst at HDFC Securities

The Nifty Auto index closed 0.48 per cent down at 15035.05.

Nifty gains 66 points and stands at 19,389 points at the end of the day. Analysts have warned of a potential downturn, as Nifty ends its session with a “Hanging Man” candlestick pattern and hints at a short-term reversal if the low of the candle is breached
