She is professor of law of the new York Law School and professor of history at rutgers university. She is the author of Thomas Jefferson sally henning, which remains most influential study of the subject. She has written numerous articles on jefferson and edited forthcoming reader on jefferson and rates which will be published by Princeton University press.
