A total 18 bunkers were destroyed in Imphal East, Imphal West, Churachandpur, Bishnupur and Kakching Districts by a combined team of Manipur Police and Central Security Forces, the control room said.

Manipur police stated 24 bunkers were destroyed in Imphal East, Kangpokpi and Imphal West Districts by combined team of Manipur Police and Central Security Forces. The police on a statement stated situation is tense in some places with sporadic incident of firing and congregation of unruly mob during the last 24 hours. However, situation is normal in most districts.
