EMS Week May 16-22
The public is invited to join in a celebration of National EMS Week by attending a grand opening ceremony on May 18 for the new Century Ambulance Service station located on Hampton Springs Avenue.
The Taylor County Commission recently adopted a proclamation designating May 16–22 as Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week, recognizing the “value and the accomplishments of emergency medical services providers” and encouraging the community to observe this week with appropriate programs, ceremonies and activities.
Century will hold a celebration of EMS Week and the grand opening of its Perry EMS station located at 301 E. Hampton Springs Ave. (Hwy. 27 East) in Perry from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18.
Century Ambulance Service has named John Pendarvis as the company’s operations manager for Taylor County.
Pendarvis has more than 20 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and prior to joining Century Ambulance, he served as the EMS Division Chief for Dixie County.
