Nigella sativa (N. sativa) is an annual flowering plant native to parts of Africa, India, Asia, and the Mediterranean. N. sativa has been used for centuries in various forms of alternative medicine, including folk medicine and Ayurveda. Also known as black cumin or black seed, N. sativa is traditionally used to treat many health conditions.

On April 15, 2021, the ITC issued a Notice of Investigation in Certain Skin Rejuvenation Resurfacing Devices, Components Thereof, and Products Containing the Same (Inv. No. 337-TA-1262).
