Hazardous road conditions, damage to businesses in Northern Kentucky caused by heavy rains Brook Endale, Cincinnati Enquirer © Provided, Chad Baker Dixie Highway in Erlanger Heavy floods caused damage to businesses and created dangerous road conditions for drivers Tuesday afternoon across Northern Kentucky.  Many took to social media to report the damage caused by the flooding.  The family-owned business Jackson Florist and Garden Center in Covington, Kentucky, was severely hit in the storm. Those traveling were advised to exercise caution and asked to avoid roads covered in highwaters.   Emergency personnel responded to several calls for service due to safety hazards caused by the floods.
