Tamfu Elangwe Godwin Motoko alias General Goddy has responded to Minister Atanga Nji’s epistle calling on armed separatists to drop their weapons and abandon the “dangerous adventure”.
The repentant fighter was lord over Bole, Kombone Mission, Kwa Kwa, Nake, and other enclave localities in Meme Division of Cameroon’s South West Region.
A smile-filled Senior Divisional Officer (SDO) for Meme Division, Chamberlain Ntou’ou Ndong received ‘General Goddy’ on March 2, 2021, at his office in Kumba.
The SDO urged other separatist fighters to copy the example of ‘General Goddy’ and drop their weapons. He hailed the repentant separatist fighter for heeding Territorial Administration Minister Atanga Nji’s call for separatists to willingly drop their arms in their own interest.

Chamberlain Ntou’ou Ndong, Senior Divisional Officer for Meme Division in Cameroon’s South West Region said on Friday, “fake news” spread in Kumba from unknown individuals on the supposed vaccination of children against COVID-19 creating “general panic and fear amongst parents and students leading to the withdrawal of children from schools”.
The rumour immediately sparked furious panic withdrawal of children from schools in Kumba as the city saw chaos and frantic movements with residents fearing the worst.
Facebook An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was diffused by security forces in the city of Kumba, at a newspaper kiosk located at the Buea-Road neighborhood.
Locals discovered the suspicious device attached to an electric meter Thursday, January 7, 2021, near the Kumba Press Center. Those who found the object informed Defense and Security Forces.
Wilson Elong Njume Njikang, Commissioner of the Kumba Central Police Station in charge of public security led a police squad to the scene.
Ascertaining that the suspicious object was an Improvised Explosive Device, military specialists were called in from the 6th military battalion. The soldiers diffused the Improvised Explosive Device without causing any damage to life or property,” a local familiar with the story told Cameroon-Info.Net.
