The belongings of the displaced residents, lying outside Hotel Mount View and Malari Inn, are covered in snow as they could not be shifted due to the adverse weather.

Joshimath land sinking: Secretary of Disaster Management Dr Ranjit Kumar Sinha has said that the Chamoli district administration is carrying out survey work in Joshimath promptly. The district administration is also holding consultations with the displaced, he added.
