RightLine launches PROHEX 27.5 WDG
The new plant growth regulator allows users to control turfgrass growth patterns.
.
– RightLine LLC enters the turfgrass plant growth regulator market with the launch of PROHEX 27.5 WDG. The new product is the first alternative source of the active ingredient prohexadione calcium.
Prohexadione calcium has recently earned a position in turf markets as a late-state growth inhibitor, affording turfgrass professionals a new technology option to standard practices. With this new active ingredient, RightLine PROHEX 27.5 WDG allows end users to control turfgrass growth patterns and control their maintenance budgets as well.
Used in alternation or combination with trinexapac-ethyl (PRIMO), RightLine PROHEX 27.5 WDG lasts longer in the plant and provides a mode of growth regulation. Turf professionals report seeing fewer negative side effects of trinexapac-ethyl, including bronzing of treated turf, damaged collars and rebound.

When the pandemic hit in March 2020, the company was on in uphill swing.
“For us, the second quarter is always where the rubber meets the road,” he says. “We came out of the gate strong, and everything was great. We had the biggest backlog in company history and then COVID completely shut us down. We were left scrambling and trying to find ways to get it all done.”
