The Multi-User Silicon Carbide Research and Fabrication Facility will enable companies, national laboratories and other university research groups to develop low-volume prototypes from lab to fab.
The University of Arkansas broke ground on the national Multi-User Silicon Carbide Research and Fabrication Facility, or MUSiC, which will enable companies, national laboratories and other university research groups to develop low-volume prototypes from lab to fab.
The facility is a long-time labor of love for U of A electrical engineering professor Alan Mantooth and was made possible by a $19 million grant from the National Science Foundation.
