The authorities in Sindh have set up a Covid-19 vaccination centre in Larkana’s Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH). However, gross mismanagement at this centre is creating many problems for people. The hospital doesn’t have a sufficient number of officials who can manage huge crowds. No one is practising social distancing. Officials aren’t even asking about a person’s medical history. A single doctor is responsible for administering doses to hundreds of people in a day.
Some people complained that they were turned away because the hospital ran out of vaccine doses. This mismanagement is discouraging people from getting vaccinated. The authorities concerned should look into the matter and take steps to make sure that a large number of people get vaccinated in a timely manner.
