Coming out of three years of online programming, the Greater Teaneck Annual Yom HaShoah Commemoration attracted over 700 participants to its April 18 program.
As in the past 35 years, the Teaneck Holocaust Committee has been busy for many months preparing for its annual Holocaust commemoration to coincide with the international marking of Yom Hashoah.
More than 40 years ago, a group of Teaneck residents, children of Holocaust survivors, joined forces and created an annual Holocaust commemoration to honor the memories of those who were lost and to celebrate the lives of those who survived.
