The project included upgrading sewer pipes along 25 blocks and adding a major storm water tunnel. The pipe that ruptured out here we have been told was not replaced in the project. This that ruptured dates back to the 1940s. This landslide is next to several homes, including one that was currently putting in a large retaining wall to shore up its foundation.
