Ernie Beilke’s bike was permanently parked on 9/27/2022. He was challenged in his later years by Parkinson’s disease and died following a fall. He donated his remains to the Mayo Clinic to further education and research. He was born “green” (long before the 1960’s environmental movement) on June 28, 1933 on a farm in Mower County near Racine to Hilda and Elmer Beilke.
