The north bay wildfires as the threat from winds diminishes. Thanks for joining us. The death toll has climbed today to 41. There are still about 100 people missing. Tonight, more evacuees are being allowed to go back home, but some are still warrenned it could take days, or weeks to get back to their properties for good. Officials are trying to be certain the area is safe, and free of human remains. Tonight, we have Team Coverage on the devastating fires. Were just outside, you can see it behind me, lot of hustle and bustle, people coming, going, the National Guard posted up outside to make sure everybody is safe. The red cross has taken hold here, and it is an official red cross shelter, and you just see such profound examples of generosity everywhere you go in santa rosa, and we literally stumbled upon the anderson family. Busy night, this one in nevada, starting before 6 00 on olivia drive off the blvd. Its in nave ado. That is take the brunt of it. Couple of power lines burned and one home sustained damage. Doesnt appear to be a total loss. No reported injuries. Fire crews just got this under control. But theyre going to be out there all night. Some of the footage from a short time ago. This is going to monitor hotspots. Theres brush and it started fast, they dont know how it started. It spread fast. This is in the park area. Couple blocks from the san marin high school. I gotta tell you, it feels a little colder out there this morning. Annie is looking at the forecast for today. I noticed the chill in the air. Yes. Its actually quite a bit cooler this morning compared to what it was yesterday. Were running anywhere from like several degrees to almost 15 degrees cooler oh, wow. Yeah. So, you know, we dont have the clouds out there to kind of keep in that heating from yesterday which is why we do have some cooler conditions, definitely jacket weather. Live look at the bay bridge. We do have clear skies out there. Satellite and radar picture showing us no rain right now. In fact, we have just a few high thin clouds out there and it looks like were going to see temperatures really warm up to some nice comfortable conditions for the afternoon.
