The member of House of Representatives for Yala/Ogoja federal constituency, Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe who is currently awaiting to be sworn in as senator for Cross River North Senatorial District, has raised alarm about threats to his life by agents of the Cross River government.
But the state information commissioner called it a figment of Jarigbe’s imagination.
In a telephone interview, Jarigbe said it was clear that agents of the Cross River State government were behind an assassination attempt.
The Senator-elect said: “From the information at my disposal which I will make available to security agencies, including DSS and the police, there are obvious daily threats to my life. These threats are from agents of the state government.
