We gingerly stepped through it : Mighty Corson Art Players on track to complete season
Like everyone else around the globe, the Mighty Corson Art Players (MCAP) in Corson are ready to get things back to normal.
And like everyone else around the globe, the past 12 months have been a challenge. The MCAP traditionally has three shows per year, and although they were able to get them all in during their 2020-21 season, it was a juggling effort.
“We didn’t exactly plow through COVID,” said MCAP Managing Artistic Director Brian Schipper. “We gingerly stepped through it.”
There’s obviously never good timing for a global pandemic, but when it crept into southeast South Dakota, it couldn’t have come at a more inconvenient time for the MCAP.
