On Wednesday night, the Notos Group, who proposed the district, held a question and answer session.
On Thursday, the Planning Board met again and decided that the district will need a simple majority to pass that is, the rezoning could pass with a margin of one vote.

The town has planned for at least 1,000 attendees.
At Tuesday’s Board of Selectmen meeting, Selectman Peter Teitelbaum said that he will be making a motion at Town Meeting for the vote on the Notos rezoning to be held through secret ballot, rather than the traditional vote by voice or raised hand, in part because the debate has become so contentious.
