Long hearing continues; motion to dismiss denied... There will be one final hearing in the case of Benjamin Cody Long before heading to trial. That trial date is tentatively set for Monday, Aug. 9. Council changes tribal law on marijuana Tribal Council made changes to drug code for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians when dealing with small amounts of marijuana. Ord.
