Both the glass and aluminium industries cast glass in furnaces that generate large volumes of greenhouse gases. Researchers believe that replacing natural gas with hydrogen will enable us to remove greenhouse gas emissions and promote smarter production.

From 20-24 November 2023, SINTEF and FME HYDROGENi had a dedicated booth at European Hydrogen Week. The booth attracted a lot of interest from other attendees, with recurring topics of interest including ammonia, electrolysers for green hydrogen production, and hydrogen transport and storage.
