Are you a lover of tequila or mezcal? Do you want to become a lover of tequila or mezcal? Then we implore you to get over to the new Lucky Day Mezcal & Tequila House in the famed Fremont Street East district downtown and the man you’re going to want to see is bar manager Asa Eubanks.
Growing up in a small town in Texas, Eubanks moved to Las Vegas when he was 19 years old and entered the food and beverage industry on the Strip, starting out as a busser for PBR Rock Bar & Grill at Miracle Mile Shops. He slowly worked his way up the ladder, from busser, food runner and server to barback and bartender, eventually moving into his first management position at now-shuttered hot spot Casa Del Matador in Downtown Summerlin, known for its huge tequila selection.
