Firefighters hustled occupants out of the Homewood Suites building Wednesday morning when a battery-powered leaf blower in a maintenance room sent smoke through the Joplin hotel s floors.
JOPLIN, Mo. — About 1:15 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 reports of a fire at El Vallarta Mexican Restaurant, 2300 block of South Rangeline alerted Joplin E-911.
