Portland Public Schools employees who are most likely to see students face-to-face will be among the first educators to be vaccinated this week, the district announced Tuesday.
The Oregon Convention Center is expected to administer 2,000 doses per day to school district employees and early childhood workers from throughout the three-county Portland metro area starting Wednesday, prioritizing educators in four waves. There are about 40,000 eligible educators in the area.
